Camping is a great alternative to hotels for family vacations. Rather than spending cramped nights in overpriced hotel rooms, a week spent camping under the stars will make any vacation the cathartic experience that it is meant to be.
The next time you are planning a family trip, consider the benefits of camping before making a reservation at a hotel.
• Price: A week spent camping will inevitably be less expensive than seven nights in a hotel. Granted, you will not get the same amenities, but campsites will charge a considerably less per night than even the cheapest hotel.
Motel Reservation
• Nature: There is no better way to start a day than unzipping the door of a tent and taking a breath of fresh air while watching the sunrise. Many campgrounds are situated in national parks with lakes and trails nearby, giving visitors a chance to get away from civilization and put their minds at ease.
Benefits of Camping
• Location: There are thousands of campsites located everywhere imaginable in the United States. If you want to stay near Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, choose from dozens of campgrounds in the area. If you're family enjoys spending vacations near the beach, visit one of the many campsites up and down the coast of Florida.
Motel Reservation
• Physical activity: Most vacations consist of a lot of sitting -- sitting on a plane or in a car, sitting on the beach, or sitting by the pool. A vacation spent camping promotes hiking, fishing, canoeing, and other physical activities that will get your blood flowing.
• Family togetherness: Camping prompts family bonding. Rather than arguing about who will sleep where in a hotel room, camping lets families spend time together around a fire under the stars, rather than in front of a television at a Red Roof Inn.
Camping will provide a great break from the average workaday lifestyle. From a car camping site to a RV park, Ocala to Ohio, there is a campsite for every family vacation.

Many people wonder what they should tip their limo driver. There are differences of opinion, but there are some common levels of tipping. Typically, you want to tip between 15% and 20%. This is around the same you would a tip a waitress or waiter at a restaurant.
Obviously, it is usually best to tip your discretion. If you think the limo driver did an excellent job, you'll want to tip as you think is reasonable to tank them for a job well done. However, if you think a limo driver could have done a better job your tip should reflect that too.
Motel Reservation
There are a few different things you want to think about before you make the decision of what to tip. First of all, was the driver on time? Limo drivers should not only be on time, but be there ahead of time to ensure that things will run as smoothly as possible. Another consideration is whether the driver was courteous. They should not be short with you or make you feel like you are wasting their time. You should feel like they are grateful to have you as their guest and are willing to cater to your every need. Yet another consideration is whether or not you like the person driving.
What Should You Tip a Limo Driver?
In addition to how you feel about them, a driver should be fairly trained and certified. That also means they know the local area and can get you from point A to point B without any trouble at all. The trip should not be uncomfortable, and you should never be worried that the driver is going too fast or cutting corners too sharply. You should always feel safe!
Motel Reservation
If your driver was not up to par, you definitely need to contact the limousine company and report it. Limo companies generally strive to provide the best possible service and they need to know if one of the drivers is not living up to their standards. In most cases, you will get a driver that you really like. It is also a nice thing to call the company and praise the driver as well so they can be further rewarded at work.
There are many different things that go into how much you should tip your limousine driver. The standard is between 15 and 20%, but you can certainly make adjustments to this figure depending on your experiences.

Battle Rock City Park - Port Orford, Oregon Port Orford, Oregon along the coast is a must stop destination History: Battle Rock City Park Battle Rock City Park has been dedicated in memory of the ancient people (Dene Tsut Dah) and the pioneer founders of Port Orford, Oregon. In 1850, the US Congress passed the Oregon donation Land Act. This act allowd white settlers to file claims on Indian land in western Oregon although no indian nation had signed a single treaty. Capt. William Tichenor of the steamship Sea Gull landed nine men on June 9, 1851, for the purpose of establishing a white settlement. This resulted in deadly conflick between the two cultures. For two weeks, the nine were besieged on the island now called Battle Rock. Under cover of darkness, the party escaped north to Umpqua City. In July, Capt. Tichenor again arrived with a well-armed party of seventy men and established the settlement now called Port Orford. music by Oleg Serkov 01 - I still remember

101 Pacific Coast Highway Del Mar | Old PCH Coast Highway 101 California video #2 Video Clips. Duration : 2.68 Mins.
Come take a look at one of the scenic stetches of the 101 Coast Highway as it heads south from Del Mar into La Jollca California. About the Historic Highway 101 - Take a nostalgic trip along scenic Highway 101. The history of the road really began shortly after the turn of the twentieth century in Oceanside and North San Diego County, when wagons and primitive autos competed for space on its narrow, bumpy, unpredictable dirt surface. San Diego County, the State, and the City of Oceanside all financed the concrete and macadam road through north San Diego commencing in 1909 and terminating in 1918 with the pavement of the thoroughfare through Oceanside. Fifteen feet wide and four inches thick without shoulders and subgrades, this "improved" road did not last too long. However the road was good enough to lure settlers from the nations hinterlands to the Golden State via Route 66 and other roads. And, locals took to the highway in droves, thanks to the more affordable and vastly improved automobile after 1918. The coast road provided great entertainment. The famous, notable, and unique traversed its ribbon of concrete, including Presidents Hoover and Roosevelt and the Hollywood crowd. Even before the highway had been paved, speed freaks and their "mechanicians" raced up and down the thoroughfare attempting to break records. The Los Angeles to Phoenix automobile race ran south through San Diego County via the coast road, then east to Arizona, in 1911. The San Diego Motorcycle ...

Business Process Outsourcing - The Most Important Steps
The ultimate motive of Business Process Outsourcing is to get your work done at a cheaper rate without compromising with quality. If you live in a country where you have to pay a big sum of money for services, outsourcing is just the right thing for you. It is not a bad idea to get your work done by someone who is equally skilled and ready to work for less money. But what are the most important things you should consider before you plan to outsource?
The most important step will be to perform a background check. Let us understand it with an example. Bob wants his website 'xyz' to be developed, for which he needs regular web content and article submissions. He searches for keyword 'web content writers' in Google and clicks on a few websites. He further carries out a back-link check in Google and finds out that this website, which he chooses, has a good reputation. Bob contacts this website and fixes a deal. Background check grade 'C'.
Motel Search
Let us look at a different situation. Bob searches for a couple of websites where people offer services with a proven record of what they offer and this website has a feedback system for their services. He asks for sample content from many writers and checks if any writer has a good reputation. He searches for these writers in Google and finds out hundreds of article submission by an author in many directories. He fixes a short assignment deals with this writer and plans to outsource his major work to him later. Background Check grade 'A'.
So, the most important thing in the whole process of outsourcing is not just a background check but to ensure the process of background check as well. With the introduction of numerous SEO techniques, we cannot really trust upon a service provider based on his search engine ranking. This is just a simple example of how people fall in trap without proper knowledge of process of outsourcing. If you are planning to outsource, you should refer to some websites that offer free guidance on business process outsourcing and outsource projects.

7 Easy Tips to Help You Purchase a Hotel Or Motel Franchise Business
With the recent slump in the economy, many entrepreneurs are weighing their options very carefully before jumping into a new investment or business opportunity, yet the fact that many are choosing to wait to see what happens to the economy could give the prospective business owner a jump on the competition and the kick-start needed to overcome the struggling economy. One such industry with great potential is hotel and motel franchises. These high capital franchises take quite a bit more to get going than the average small business but the payoff can be exponentially higher and if you follow some of the following tips, you'll be on your way to starting your new hotel or motel franchise in no time.
1) Stay in the Hotels You're Looking at
If you're in the market to start a hotel, chances are you have some experience with the hospitality industry and you're at least beginning to become acquainted with the franchisor you're interested in. But knowing how a hotel or motel franchise is supposed to run is far different than knowing what a specific hotel's daily practices actually look like, so one of the best things you can do is study the business from a guest's point of view. If you're curious about Hawthorne Suites, get a room for a week at one of their locations and do some first-hand research. You'll learn more than a pamphlet can ever teach.
Motel Search
2) Talk to Other Franchisees
This is a good step for someone starting a franchise in any industry. Your interest, as a potential Choice Hotels franchisee for example, is not only in how the business treats its guests, but also it's franchisees, and the only way to learn that is to go and talk with men and women who have already walked that road. Find some nearby franchises and ask to talk to the owners. Ask them about what they like and would like to change about the way their franchisor relates to them, how the purchase process went, and what kinds of ongoing support the franchisor still provides.
3) Seek Wise Council Early in Negotiations
Experts recommend that a new franchisee never even begin to make high capital franchise deals without finding wise advisors to help influence the decision-making process. There is no shame in getting the help of a whole team of seasoned businesspeople to help you navigate the negotiation process with your franchisor, and if you can do so before the deal term sheet is printed by your franchisor, you'll have a lot more leverage in the long run.
4) Negotiate Anything and Everything
The most important thing to know when you go to the table with a franchisor is that you are not at their mercy; the two of you are making a mutual agreement, and the agreement needs to be agreeable to both parties. Whatever you have a problem or concern with in the agreement, as it is drawn up, tell the franchisor what it is and what you want. When you're looking to get into a Wingate by Wyndham franchise, it is as much in their interest that they accommodate you as it is in yours that you accommodate them-and they have more leeway than they let on.
5) When Converting an Old Hotel, Inspect it
It's a really straightforward recommendation, but if you're remodeling an old hotel instead of building a new one, be sure to get every nook and cranny inspected. The last thing any franchisee wants is to spend the money for the perfect business only to find that there are structural, sewage, or electrical problems with the facility halfway through the opening year. Save yourself future headaches by being sure the real estate investment is sound.
6) Research the Local Competition
When it comes to choosing the placement of the hotel franchise you're going to buy, it's important to know all you can about the area you're looking at, and competition is a big part of that. Even though Microtel Inns and Suites is the premium name in economy hotels, putting your franchise in an area overly filled with other economy locations is not the wisest of business tactics.
7) Do Your Homework on Local Development
Chances are good that a franchisor is already well aware of what's going on in any area in which they're proposing to start a franchise hotel, however, doing your own research can never hurt. For that reason, when looking at a potential location for your business, make a call to the local government agencies in charge of land development and road construction. See what future plans are in store for the highways and roads of the area, whether there will be more access to your location or less, and ask about what the outlook for residential, commercial, and industrial expansion is. Make sure that in a few years, the location will be even more hospitable to your business than it is now.
Hospitality is an excellent industry that has been with us for millennia and has proven profitable for millions, so starting hotel franchises is certainly a good idea. Like all things, though, it just has to be done correctly, and the earlier in the process that a franchisee starts doing things the right way, the better. These helpful tips may not make everything run perfectly, but they can provide a good start and the confidence that a new business owner needs to succeed.

Sometimes people find the investment options very rare but I think the investment in real estate is one of the better options for them and that too in hotel and motels. There is a lot of hotel and motel for sale and these are available in all part of the world including in United States of America and you can invest according to your budget. Although the rate of real estate is continuously raising almost all over the world hence a higher appreciation but in some part of the world the rates are either constant or there is a negative trend, therefore the investment in real estate should be made carefully considering all these factors.
The second and most important thing while investing in hotel and motel offered for sale is that the investment should not only be better appraised but the outcome should also return a good income from the hotel and motel business. All this will happen only if we invest in the right size of the hotel and that too at the right place or location. There will be a lot of hotel motel for sale in a particular location but most of the time only a few will be profitable and we must invest in the hotel, which will be capable to generate profits. Many times we may not able to spend huge money on profitable hotel business and then we must ensure whether we are capable to run a new hotel or motel business in profit. If we are able to make profit from a new hotel or loss making hotel, then the new or loss making hotel motel for sale will be a good investment option for us as the asking price of this hotel will be far less than the one which makes profits.
The Motels
There are a number of losses making hotel motel for sale in almost all the cities. These loss making hotel motel for sale are offered to us at large discount rates. September 2007 For decades, Route 66 was the highway of Middle America -- a pathway to opportunity and success. But time hasn't been kind to the iconic road. Many of its kitsch attractions have long disappeared The highway runs for nearly three thousand km across eight states. For biker John Boyd, the road is a reminder of "a time when things were slower and simpler". But the birth of the interstate marked the beginning of the end for the Route. The mom and pop diners have been replaced by chain motels. Now, bikers are calling for the remaining attractions; "to be preserved for future generations". Truck Driving at Night - Tips to Fight Drowsiness and to Stay Alert When Driving
It is incorrect to presume that truck driving is all about driving during the day and sleeping at night. There may be some routes where you cannot drive the truck during the day. There may be some instances where you may have to drive the truck through urban areas and may be forced to wait for nightfall. Further, there may be some other instances where you may have drive all night to reach the motel.
Hence, a truck driver must be aware of the dangers of falling asleep on the wheel. Remember that a truck is a massive vehicle carrying heavy loads. Not only will you be putting your life in danger but you will be putting all other persons on the road at risk as well.
Motel Search
You cannot push your body beyond a certain limit. It is unrealistic to think that you can drive for thirty six hours without any sleep whatsoever. The idea is to help your body relax with minimum sleep when you have no other option.
Having a partner along side and chatting with him throughout the drive is one option. Having a radio and chatting with other truck drivers or even listening to music on the radio can help you avoid drowsiness. Of course, you should regulate your meal and avoid heavy and oily stuff and alcohol when you intend to drive at night.
All said and done, you must listen to your body. Sometimes, it may cooperate with you and sometimes you may end up feeling very drowsy. If your body refuses to cooperate, you have no option but to park the truck and relax.
Truck Driving at Night - Tips to Fight Drowsiness and to Stay Alert When Driving
Hotels and motels represent particularly significant investments for their respective owners. For example, even with the recent downturn in California property values, many of these properties, be they in San Diego, San Mateo, San Francisco or Sacramento, have retained property values which are often in the millions or tens of millions. Hotels and motels like these demand a great deal of time, money, and attention to maintain, and to ensure ongoing profitability. Given that many of these hotels and motels involve complex networks of people, repair services, food services (in some cases) and staff, the resulting risk exposure is very high. It is absolutely necessary to account for all these risks by obtaining an insurance policy dedicated strictly to protecting the unique requirements of hotels and motels, and the people who own them, particularly with the property values and natural disasters which can be associated with these assets in California.
As "hoteliers and inn keepers", owners and operators strive to give their customers an enjoyable stay. That said, it can be all too easy to forget about some of the risks attached to the hotel and motel hospitality industry. Hotels and motels receive hundreds or thousands of visitors each year, and this volume of people can leave these types of businesses seriously exposed should an accident occur on the premises.
The Motels
For example, if a guest was to trip upon leaving their room and become injured, obviously the hotel or motel could be held liable for significant damages. However, some owners fail to acknowledge the real risk of floods, forest fire or other disaster endemic to California that can result in prolonged loss of use. This is in many ways unique to California hotels and motels, or at a minimum exacerbated by the possible extent of the business interruption and higher cost of doing business in California. Policies available for hotels or motels include employers' liability insurance, business interruption insurance, money coverage, glass coverage and loss of alcohol license. These coverage's can be especially important considering the property values, taxes, natural disasters and expenses facing these costly west coast operations.
Hotel and Motel Insurance coverage should be customized to meet specific operational needs, including:
Natural disasters
Machinery and equipment failure (boilers, cooling units, etc.)
General liability
Commercial vehicle liability
Liquor liability
Restaurant related coverage
Workers compensation
Pollution coverage
Obviously California based hotels and motels should be more concerned with natural disasters, fire, pollution and flood for example, than many other areas of the country. This is also compounded by high property valuations, thus it is particularly important to maintain a more comprehensive policy perspective when reviewing coverage with an insurance broker.
Here is an overview of the most popular offshore company jurisdictions:

Factors to keep in mind when choosing a jurisdiction:
Perception of your Company Location
Though there are certain benefits to incorporate in small Caribbean countries or pacific island nations, do not underestimate the public perception of these places. If you want to make business with other international companies you might get a preoccupied opinion if your business is in a jurisdiction famous for tax fraud and maybe sub-legal activities.
Political and economical stability
As a lot of the popular offshore locations are in very small countries you have to keep an eye on the political and economical stability. Things tend to change fast. Especially if the economy is very dependent on a specific sector, like in most island nations.
Costs
You also have to factor in the costs for incorporation, audit requirements, virtual office, annual fees which can vary quite a lot.
Privacy
If you want to stay below the radar and do not want anybody to know who is director or shareholder of your company, you limit your options to a few jurisdictions. Panama might be worth a look.
Tax
As you probably want to build a profitable business, you must check the tax situation of the place where you want to incorporate. Usually you want to have a place which is a tax haven.
Easiness of Incorporation
A factor often underestimated is the easiness of incorporation. Some governments are just very inefficient in their procedures which will cost your time, your nerves and ultimately your money.
Though there is no best jurisdiction which fits for everybody. If privacy is an issue, you chould check out Panama which offers cheap and convenient incorporation. If you want to do business in Asia, especially China, you should consider Hong Kong. Hong Kong allows cheap incorporation as well.
There are many excellent investments in the area of commercial real estate. At no particular time, many successful real estate investors consider adding a hotel to their commercial real estate portfolios. As in most commercial real estate investments, owner involvement is limited after acquisition to being a landlord and usually that is through a property management company.
Hotels are different from other commercial real estate investments in that they are a special blend of investment in a business and in real estate. A Hotel owner acquires not only a income producing property but also any businesses that are situated on the property. The businesses on this type of property operate largely on their own but the new investor may opt for other methods to imprve cash flow if necessary. Although a hotel may already have professional management in place, owners should be prepared to address the operational details or future improvements of their investment.

Hotel Operations
A hotel owner needs to choose whether to operate the hotel independently or contract with a professional management company. Hiring a management company can remove much of the daily burden from the owner.
In majority of commercial property management contracts, operational expenses are paid by the tenants. In this industry, most operational expenses are paid by the owner. The owner of a hotel property must decide whether to operate independently or affiliate with a franchisor. The most common way to operate a hotel is as a franchise. The major reasons for franchise affiliation are brand name recognition, advertising and possibly the most important, a franchisee has access to the franchises national or international reservation system.
You are now an Employer
A hotel owner/operator becomes an employer, subject to complex federal and state laws regulating and governing employment issues.
Food and Beverage license
Many hotel properties rely on the significant share of profits generated by food and beverage service.
In summary, hotels are a commercial real estate investment as well as a real business. Investors, even those with years of experience in commercial real estate, should consult with knowledgeable professionals before committing to purchasing a hotel.
Only the Lonely (the Motels - cover) Video Clips. Duration : 4.55 Mins.
As promised, I give you a song on the guitar, with a bit of 80's pop nostalgia. "Only the Lonely" was and still is one of my favorite songs ever. It's so simple and elegant... and it took me 10 attempts to get it right. More uke madness later on (I'm still open to suggestions). And thanks to everyone who commented and subscribed. "...I just know we're all we've got..." Finally managed to finish a vid to one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. I love the Winchesters, and hope this vid did them at least SOME justice. It's pretty random, and in absolutely NO order, but I kinda like it anyway. Hope you do too. It's basically about their never-ending fear of losing one another. Of Sam's fear of losing Dean to his deal, and Dean's fear of losing Sam to the darkness. This song is one of my all-time favs. (PS, it's "Fear" by Sarah McLachlan, so please don't ask me). This vid is for my sister. The Sam to my Dean, and one of the very few people on this earth who also thinks it's cool to take her antique truck across country like the SPN boys while staying in cheap motels and wearing SPN necklaces that we refuse to take off. Love you Bess. Sorry this vid took so long, haha. Tenesha and Heathyr... you got em coming. This checklist for a road trip will make sure that nothing important has been forgotten when you're finally ready to jump in your car or RV and go. Most people think about what they need to pack, but there's so much more you need to do when preparing for a road trip.
The items on this checklist for a road trip have been placed in the order that they need to be attended to - so don't jump ahead!Select your road trip companions first - if you're going with your family or significant other, you can jump ahead to step 2. If you're selecting friends to take on your road trip, make sure you're truly compatible. That person that's fun to hang out with in a bar or go out with for the occasional coffee may not be someone you can handle on a 24-hour basis. Add all that time together to the close proximity you'll share during the ride, and tensions may mount. How do you know that they're the right person to bring? You want someone who generally shares your interests and attitudes, who is as much like you as possible or is complimentary, and someone who rarely (if ever) ticks you off. Watch out for any annoying habits or personal grooming issues - they will really get to you on a road trip.
The next item on this checklist for a road trip is to select a destination that the entire group is excited about. It's not good enough for just one person or half of your group to be enthusiastic about where you're going. A road trip is often a week or more, and part of what keeps you going every day is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow: your destination. You don't want some people in your group thinking that pot of gold is really just a pot of cheap gold-painted plastic coins.
Map your road trip so that your route to your destination and your return route are different. This will make both journeys more interesting and give you more opportunities to see interesting sights, stay at different hotels, and eat at different restaurants - jazzing up your road trip considerably. Plan your route to hit sights, towns, cities, and various attractions along the way. A road trip is as much about the journey as it is about the destination. If you don't care about the journey, take a plane!
Make your hotel/motel or campground reservations and print out all reservation information to have on hand in case there is a mix-up. Doing this has saved me many times when mistakes were made on the hotel's end - sometimes I even got an upgrade and some complimentary wine or a fruit basket for my troubles! If I hadn't had the printed reservation, I would have had to find other accommodations (and when you're in a popular area - that can often mean no accommodations).
Pack your maps, any printed directions, and any reservation confirmations in a waterproof zippered bag that you'll keep in the car for reference. The waterproof and zipper part will come in very handy when you accidentally spill that soda or there's a downpour of rain when you're carrying it to and from the car.
Get your car checked out and have any necessary maintenance work done. I recommend getting an oil change unless you just got one - better safe than sorry. Check the condition of your tires and replace them if they're worn. If you don't have AAA, consider getting it for not only the benefit of roadside assistance, but also the discounts most hotels offer to AAA members.
Get both a roadside emergency kit and a first aid kit and put them in your trunk. Make sure the spare tire is in good shape.
Arrange for your pets and plants - either boarding the pets or having someone stop in at your home to take care of everything. Have all mail and newspapers held or have a friend or neighbor take them in daily.
Even if you don't have plants or pets, ask a friendly neighbor to keep an eye on your home. Let them know the exact length of your trip and also let them know that if they see a moving van in front of your house, call the police! I've heard too many stories of neighbors seeing a moving truck or van and thinking that it had something to do with the trip their neighbors were taking.
Get an extra refill of any prescriptions if possible - it's good to have more than you need in case your trip runs longer for some unforeseen reason.
Check with your cell-phone provider to make sure you'll have coverage where you're going and what the roaming fees are. You might want to check if your traveling companions have different calling plans and see if they are complimentary (they have coverage where you don't and vice-versa).
Get or rent a roof-top cargo carrier if your car is too small for all of your stuff.
Now that you've completed everything on this checklist for a road trip, you're ready to get packing!

On my first trip to Ecuador I discovered that the official currency of is the U.S. Dollar. A nice surprize, since I thought I'd have to find a place to exchange money at midnight in Quito. Not only could I use the dollar bills in my pocket, but just one of them would buy a three-course lunch at a clean restaurant. I fell in love with Ecuador immediately. I fell in love with my wife Ana a few days later.
Quito, Ecuador
Motel Booking
I loved Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Centro Del Mundo, the hostel where I stayed the first few days, cost per night, including breakfast. The walls had maps and all the information I needed on them. There were travelers from fourteen countries there during my stay.
Ecuador: One Month, 00 Including Airfare
I took a tour to the volcano Cotapaxi, and hiked up to the glaciers with three others, from Israel, France and England. I danced (Free Rum in the hostel on Friday nights), wandered the city streets, and took spanish lessons from a beautiful tutor. Ana was not only a great teacher, but soon became my tour guide and, eventually, my wife.

Riobamba, Ecuador
Riobamba is another beautiful mountain city. My hotel was per night, this time in a private room with a TV. The manager had connections, and information on anything I wanted. He arranged for a guide to take me up Mount Chimborazo, which at 20,600 feet is the furthest point from the center of the Earth (due to the bulge at the equator). After climbing 4,000 feet of glaciers, I made it to the summit.
Banos, Ecuador
Back in Quito, I called Ana, and we made plans to go to Banos De Santa Agua, a town in central Ecuador, famous for its hotsprings. The bus was , a nice motel with cable T.V. cost per night. The second day there, we ate out for breakfast, lunch and dinner, went to the hotsprings, bought souvenirs, went to a movie, went out drinking and dancing - and the entire day, including motel, cost !
In fact, the entire trip, including airfare, the fee for the guide on Chimborazo, and everything else, cost 40. That was for four weeks. How I kept it so cheap is a subject for another article.
More Information on Ecuador
The mountain towns (Quito, Riobamba, Loja, Cuenca, Otavalo, Ibarra, Ambato, Latacunga) have wonderful climates. Highs are in the 60s to 70s fahrenheit year-round. Guayaquil and the coastal cities can be hot, but the temperature is moderated by the Humboldt Current, which brings cool water along the coast of South America.
If you like beaches, you have many options. In Salinas, for example, you can sit on a beautiful Pacific Ocean beach, while vendors bring you everything from beer to ice cream to chair rentals an music. For you can rent a jet ski and have some fun in the waves.
The Galapagos Islands are part of Ecuador, and tour information is available in all major cities (It's cheaper to wait until you're in Ecuador to book a tour).
Good meals can still be had for under two dollars in most cities, if you eat where the locals do. Hotels in most cities start at around (less for a bed in a hostel). Cross-country travel by bus is cheaper and more comfortable than bus travel in the U.S.
The people of Ecuador are almost universally friendly, and speak one of the clearest, easiest to understand dialects of Spanish (A great place to learn). Ecuador is a safe, democratic republic, with a legal system similar to that of the U.S.

This article will provide a brief overview about the concept of hospitality industry, the problems faced by this industry and importance of hospitality marketing to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
Hospitality industry has a long evolutionary history. In older times, analysts suggest that the concept of this industry was initially known with a synonym, hotel industry. However in modern era the terminology of 'Hospitality Industry' is more common that comprises those businesses that provide services such as accommodation, food, and beverages to travelers seeking pleasure as well as those who travel due to business reasons (Gray & Liguori, 1996). Moreover it is argued that to some extend components of leisure industry such as cruise ships restaurants and to some lesser degree airlines are also considered part of hospitality industry as well (Papers4you.com, 2006).
Motel Reservation
Though the industry is assumed to be in nevr lasting demand but there are certain problems that this industry regularly faces. These problems may include uncertainty to the costs of even most economic source of energy, increased trend of problems in maintaining profitable food and beverage facilities, comparatively more increase in labor costs as compared to productivity, customer dissatisfaction due to increase in size and number of rooms as it is claimed to increase registration and other services process time and more importantly very high competition that induces heavy rate cuts to survive (Gray & Liguori, 1996).
Hospitality Marketing: A Remedy to Problems of Hospitality Industry
Keeping these factors in view, in particular customer's dissatisfaction and profit reduction, Lewis & Chambers (1989) asserts that hospitality industry historically did not realize importance of marketing and a remedy to industry's problem is encapsulated in 'hospitality marketing', both in its foundation and practices. It was further asserted that in 1950s and 1960s, industry focused on technology and updating their telephone reservation systems. Similarly in 1970s and later, businesses were focused to increase assets and forgot the essence of industry, that is, 'customer oriented service'.
Motel Reservation
It was suggested that players in hospitality industry should realize that hospitality product is different, that is in fact, something intangible that they are selling and as both product and reasons for buying it are different also different so it demands a different marketing strategy, something like hospitality marketing that requires customer centered hospitality need identification, specific segmentation & positioning and 'the hospitality marketing mix'.
Such trend can be observed around the world (Papers4you.com, 2006). Food chains like McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc are now focusing on customer's service and taste rather than focusing on their own brand name only. McDonalds in India, for instance, operates differently while focusing on the 'vegetarian aspect' of their tradition than McDonalds in USA where focus is more towards an easy accessible food facility.
Hence the discussion may conclude that hospitality industry provided ever needed services. Nonetheless it may face certain specific issues that can be counterattacked through industry specific 'hospitality marketing'

While it might initially seem like a good idea to just leave the bats alone when they have taken over your attic space, you shouldn't fall victim to this very bad idea. If there are bats in attic spaces, they need to be removed for the safety and health of your family. No matter how many bats there are or how long they have been there, getting rid of them should be your first priority. Otherwise, you'll compromise the health and safety of your family, which is something that you should never do.
Bats in attic spaces don't know any better. They simply seek out warm dry places to nest, and your attic has some prime real estate in their world. However, your attic is not a bat motel, and you need to make sure that they know this. Don't attempt to tell them yourself, because this can be dangerous and a waste of money. If you find bats in your attic, you need to call a pest control service or wildlife specialist right away to have the problem resolved.
Motel Finder
You might be wondering about all those home remedies and do-it-yourself products that you see for taking care of bats in attic spaces. Truth be told, very few of them are actually effective and will only cause you to waste a lot of money that you don't need to waste. If you take the money that you would have spent on those products and attempted solutions and invest in bat control services the first time around, you will have a much more successful bat removal experience. After all, these companies are professionally trained, and it is their job to protect you and your family from bat infestations.
Bats in Attic - Your Home is Not a Bat Motel
A bat inspection and evaluation is usually free from most companies, which is a nice bonus. You can call just about any bat removal service and have them come out and discuss your bat removal options with you. Some might have better plans than others, but overall the process will involve removing the bats and getting them back outside of your home, and then sealing up your home so that they can't get back in. The technical name for this process is bat removal and bat exclusion, and it is a very effective solution for bats in attic spaces.

If you're looking for a great destination to travel to, don't overlook beautiful Lake Chelan in North Central Washington State. Lake Chelan is a gorgeous 55-mile long lake that cuts into the beautiful North Cascade Mountains. Fishing, boating, and water sports of all sorts are plentiful on Lake Chelan as is sunbathing on the shores during the hotter summer months. If outdoor recreation is an interest of yours then Lake Chelan a great place to go.
At the lower end sit the towns of Chelan and Manson; these communities combine the aspects of a resort town with the charm of a simple small village. You'll find few chain restaurants and motels in Chelan, meaning you'll have to "settle" for superior cooked meals from locally owned establishments. Many condos and motels overlook the famous lake, but summer reservations better be made early. A popular tourist site for young and old alike, Chelan is surrounded by apple orchards like much of the North Central Washington region. During the harvest months fresh fruit is both plentiful and delicious thanks to roadside fruit stands that seem to appear out of nowhere. For the youngsters, there is miniature golf, bowling, a petting zoo, and a waterslide park. There is also the option of casino-like entertainment from the Casino in Manson.

The lake is divided into the upper and lower basin. The lower basin is home to most of the recreational boaters and jet skiing enthusiasts and the upper lake is mainly used as a waterway to get to some of the numerous boat-in-only or hike-in-only campgrounds that dot the shoreline. Imagine your peaceful camping trip taking place at a campground that only boaters and accomplished hikers could get to.
At the upper end of Lake Chelan sits the remote village of Stehekin. The Stehekin area itself has about 20-30 miles of roadway but none of them connect to the outside world. That's right; the only way to make a much needed visit to Stehekin is by boat, floatplane, or hiking in on forest trails. Stehekin has one calling card operated phone and not much else for modern luxuries. There are approximately 75 year-round residents made up of retirees, forest service workers, teachers in the one-room schoolhouse, and small business owners. The most convenient way to get to Stehekin is by boat. Daily boat trips are run from Chelan, 55 miles down lake, to Stehekin and passage can be booked there at the boat company (this is also how the Stehekin residents get their groceries and other living necessities). This boat service also stops at other points on the lake like the small community of Holden Village and the occasional trailhead. Once in Stehekin you can choose to spend the night in the rustic inn or camp in any of the local camp sites. Within a short drive/hike is Rainbow falls that, though an awesome sight at any time of year, is truly majestic in the spring and early summer. There is far more to explore in this rustic little hamlet cut off from the world, enough for the outdoor enthusiast and the history lover alike.
Hiking trails head off in many many directions from the shores of Lake Chelan allowing thorough exploration of the beautiful North Central Washington area. Chelan itself boasts a number of golf courses and wineries so there is enough to keep the adults occupied as well. When the winter hits, the recreation doesn't stop as the skiers, snowboarding, and snowmobiling take over.
Beautiful Lake Chelan in North Central Washington has no problem year in and year out entertaining many wonderful visitors. There is so many events and activities offered by, not only this town, but the entire North Central Washingon area that it would be a shame for the entire family to miss out on such great memories.
If you've ever visited San Francisco, you know it can be a very expensive city. Hotel costs, restaurant tabs, valet fees and cab fares can add up quite quickly. But, if you know where the values are, that trip to San Francisco can actually fit into your budget quite nicely.
First, let's start with lodging. Yes, it's nice to stay at the Grand Hyatt on Union Square or the Mark Hopkins. But, let's face it, they're expensive. For budget considerations, I suggest you consider Lombard Street. No, not the crooked part of Lombard Street, but the section of Lombard Street which runs through the Cow Hollow and Marina districts in the northern part of San Francisco, near the Golden Gate Bridge.
The Motels
You can find a nice room on Lombard Street for just under 0 a night, which is a far cry from the hotels on Union Square. But, what kind of room will your 0 get you? Of course, you're not going to get the luxury of a fancy hotel, but you're not paying for luxury. You're paying to enjoy San Francisco. Your 0 will buy you a comfortable, clean room. Also, you will generally receive free parking. If you drive to San Francisco or rent a car in San Francisco, free parking is a big deal. The luxury hotels usually charge for parking, as well as a in & out fees when you retrieve your car for a day trip or night out.
Lombard Street is also a great location. Just north of Lombard Street is Chestnut Street, with a movie theater, shops and wonderful food. To the south a few blocks you'll find Union Street, with upscale shops and, again, wonderful food. Lombard Street is also a good location for bus service to all parts of San Francisco, eliminating the need for expensive taxi rides.
You have numerous choices for lodging along Lombard Street. I've stayed at the Cow Hollow Motor Inn (415-921-5800) and find it to be good, inexpensive choice, with free parking, with a nice, inexpensive Italian restaurant located just north on Steiner Street (Ristorante Parma). One caveat I have about Cow Hollow, which can probably be applied to any of the motels on Lombard Street, is that you will probably want to request an inside room off the main streets, as they can get quite loud. Another motel you might consider would be La Luna Inn (415-346-4664), a recently renovated inn with some luxuries you wouldn't expect from a budget motel, such as pillow-top mattresses, flat screen TVs, wireless internet access and complimentary muffins, breads, coffee, tea and juices served every morning. All that for just under 0 per night for a single king or queen bed.
Restaurants can also add up to the cost of a vacation. San Francisco has a large amount of wonderful restaurants at inexpensive prices. Of course, you have to know which ones they are. Those would usually be the ones the locals frequent, so if you want to avoid over-priced restaurants, you'd stay away from restaurants in tourist traps like Fisherman's Wharf and go for neighborhood restaurants, such as those found in Cow Hollow and the Marina District, 24th Street in Noe Valley, or Potrero Hill. One very inexpensive restaurant I'd recommend in Potrero Hill is San Francisco Bar B Que, 1328 18th St., a wonderful little Thai BBQ restaurant that serves great food at cheap prices. If there's a wait, just put your name on the list and bop into Bloom's Saloon a couple doors down for a drink and great views of the downtown skyline.
As for inexpensive things to do in San Francisco, check out the free walking tours offered by San Francisco City Guides, a non-profit organization of more than 200 trained volunteers who lead free walking tours in San Francisco. Their website at sfcityguides.org lists all the many different walking tours of such sites as Chinatown, Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, and even ghost walks of supposedly haunted locations.
San Francisco is truly a great city to visit. It's even better when you know you can visit and experience all the city has to offer without breaking the bank.
