Everybody wants to rule the world again

While watching NBC's "Medium" ("But for the grace of God"), which focuses on solving the murder of a young girl in 1980, was the effective use of original and nostalgic 80's pop music because the column sound, including "Everybody wants to rule the world", the British duo Tears for Fears.

"Everybody wants to rule the world," a number 1 April 1985 was made. (The second single from their album Songs From The Big Chair breakout "Shout" also hit # 1 in June of the sameYear) How many shots of vintage artists, such as "Only the Lonely" in 1982 through the motels, "Everybody Wants to rule the world" is, by its simple, catchy, synth pad in the verse is repeated.

The series "Medium" also lends itself in 1987 with "Do not dream is over" of the New Zealand trio Crowded House (# 2 reached), and other great songs of the decade.

It's just me or have enoughStop doing a lot of great music somewhere between now and then? My suspicion is that the new millennium has opened a public a little 'less demanding of its artists music and less interested in "news", at least temporarily. With the increasing problems of the world can change that.
